Almost ready to go!
It's October 28 and we are almost ready to go. Final packing is taking place and, hopefully, all of our participants were blessed by their congregations today. My church had a blessing for me just before our confirmation ceremony. Many people laid hands on me for support and it was particularly special that three young men currently in confirmation classes came up to participate. They have all been in my milestone classes and I felt very honored.
For those of you hoping to follow this blog, we will take turns on the trip offering our observations and photos and we will sign our posts so you know which of us is writing. As soon as I get permission from the group, we will post photos so you can see who the people are that you don't know.
We ask your support through prayer in this marvelous adventure in Christ's work and we hope you will ask us about our experiences when we return.
